Privacy Policy

This page explains what Automate Everything ("we," "us," or "our") does and doesn't do with information on automateeverything.asia (the "Site"). It describes what the Site actually does today — we'll update it if that changes.

Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information: information you choose to provide through the "Request a Process Check" form, and information collected automatically by our hosting and server infrastructure as you browse the Site.

Information You Provide

If you fill out the "Request a Process Check" form, you may provide:

• Your name
• Your work email address
• Your company name (optional)
• A free-text description of the operational problem you want us to look at

How submission works: when you submit the form, your entries are sent directly to a server-side handler on our infrastructure — never to a third-party analytics or advertising service. That handler validates the input, applies basic anti-spam checks, and — when email delivery is configured — relays the message once, by email, to our team via Resend (resend.com), a transactional email API. We do not store your submission in a database on our side; it exists only for the duration of that one relay. Resend processes the message strictly to deliver it and, per its own policies, may retain minimal delivery logs (such as timestamps and delivery status) for a limited period for deliverability and abuse-prevention purposes — see Resend's privacy policy for details. If email delivery is not yet configured on our side, the form will tell you submission is temporarily unavailable rather than showing a false success message — nothing is silently discarded without telling you.

Information Collected Automatically

Like virtually every website, our server infrastructure (an nginx reverse proxy in front of our application server) automatically logs standard connection information for every request, which may include your IP address, browser user-agent string, the page requested, referring URL, and timestamp. These logs are used solely for operating, securing, and debugging the Site (for example, identifying abuse or diagnosing errors) and are not used to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.

Separately, when you submit the "Request a Process Check" form, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory (not in a database, and not linked to your name or email) purely to apply a simple rate limit — capping how many submissions can come from the same address in a short window — so the form can't be trivially spammed. That value is not retained once the rate-limit window passes and is never sent to a third party.

We do not currently run any analytics, advertising, or tracking-pixel service (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar) on the Site. No behavioral tracking or cross-site tracking occurs. The codebase has a dormant integration point for Plausible Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not use tracking cookies or collect personal data — but it only activates if a specific build-time configuration value is deliberately set, which has not happened as of this policy's last revision. If that changes, this section will be updated first.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Operate, maintain, and secure the Site
• Respond to Process Check requests submitted through the form
• Diagnose technical issues from server logs
• Apply a short-lived rate limit to the form to reduce spam
• Remember your language and sound preferences between visits

Cookies and Local Storage

The Site sets two first-party, functional (non-tracking) values, used only to remember your preferences on your next visit:

• ae-lang — remembers whether you chose English or Bahasa Indonesia. Stored in both browser local storage and a cookie (so the correct language can be rendered on the very first server response).
• ae-sound — remembers whether you turned the site's optional background audio off. Stored the same way as above.

Both cookies are set with SameSite=Lax, are marked Secure on HTTPS, expire after one year, and are never read by any third party. We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-Party Services

We keep third-party dependencies deliberately minimal. The only third party the Site loads resources from is:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — used to load the IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono typefaces. Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser makes a direct request to Google, which may log your IP address per Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive that data.
• Resend (resend.com) — used only when you submit the "Request a Process Check" form, to relay that one message to our inbox by email. Your browser never talks to Resend directly; only our server does, using a private API key that is never exposed to visitors.

We do not use any analytics platform, advertising network, session-recording tool, chat widget, or CDN-hosted tracker on the Site beyond what is listed above.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Server logs and any information you provide to us directly are accessible only to Automate Everything and, where applicable, our infrastructure provider strictly as needed to host the Site.

Data Retention

Server access logs are retained only as long as operationally necessary for security and debugging and are rotated periodically. Process Check form submissions are not stored in any database of ours — each one is relayed once by email and then exists only in that email conversation, which is retained the same way we retain any other business email. The rate-limit counter described above is discarded automatically a short time after each request.

Data Security

The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect our infrastructure, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

Our infrastructure may be located outside the country you are browsing from. By using the Site, you understand that information collected as described above may be processed in a different jurisdiction than your own.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. Since we don't keep a database of form submissions, this mainly concerns whatever you've told us by email. You can also control the functional cookies described above at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and local storage for this Site.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

External Links

The Site does not currently link out to external social profiles or third-party destinations beyond the font provider noted above. If that changes, this policy will be updated; in general, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of any external site you may reach from a link on this Site.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site's functionality changes — for example, once the Process Check form is connected to a backend or email service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
